Join Our Education Team as a Forest School Leader:

Are you passionate about promoting holistic child development and a deep connection with nature? Green Planet Forest School are looking for a qualified Forest School Leader to design and deliver fun and engaging Forest School programmes to support children aged 4-13. These may be during school time, at afterschool and holiday clubs or for our home education or alternative provision sessions. With excellent career progression opportunities available for the right candidate.

 

Pay: £24,999 - £28,938 DOE (Based on 37.5 hours week)

Full time, Part time and Term time only roles are available

Location:

The role involves travel to, setup and delivery of sessions at multiple sites around Buckinghamshire; Buckingham, Aylesbury, Bicester triangle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver Forest School programmes for multiple sites and age groups

 

- Develop partnerships with educational establishments

 

- Work independently, and in collaboration with the leadership and education team

Applicant Requirements:

- Level 3 Forest School Leader (essential)

​

- Demonstrable experience of delivering Forest School to this age group

 

- Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work with different groups of staff, teachers,

students and the general public

 

- A flexible and proactive work ethic and a positive attitude

 

- Strong customer focus and ability to demonstrate the importance of service quality

 

- Ability to communicate to the needs of different audiences

 

- Punctual, organised (can organise own workload and that of support staff/volunteers)

 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

- First Aid (advantageous)

 

- Safeguarding and educational background (advantageous)

 

  • Clean Driving Licence and use of vehicle

​

Candidates must be 18 years or over and hold a valid UK driving license.

 

A DBS enhanced disclosure will be required following our strict safeguarding procedures.
